Modern-day trilobites, Porcellio spatulatus comes from the island of Sardinia in the Mediterranean. Its care is similar to the Spanish Porcellio species, and they do not like conditions that are too moist. We keep ours on wood and plaster (they really seem to like the plaster) and maintain moisture in one corner. During winter, when the air is drier, we also mist the rest of the enclosure once or twice per week. this species eats fruit and vegetables, but we also supplement with fish flakes on occasion. One of the most beautiful of all species!
